My experience in Sisaket was truly unforgettable. The host Pnom made me feel immediately at home and very comfortable. He welcomed me in to his culture and home as if I was his own. I made unforgettable memories and I was truly immersed into the Thai culture. This would be an amazing program for a beginner traveler as he is constantly available to help answer any questions. Overall my stay was absolutely magical and I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point. The children and faculty at the school were amazing as well and eased you into teaching smoothly. I will definitely be back.

It was such an amazing opportunity to meet the host and his family, and the students from the city. The host is such a kind and lovely person, will take you to nice places to have food, and will drive you around the city when you need! Amazing, will come back

My time in Sisaket has been such an unforgettable experience. PNom, his family and local people made me feel so welcomed. PNom is an amazing host, he has so much knowledge and is more than happy to share with volunteers. Teaching is a beautiful experience, teaching a range of year groups, all the children were so eager to learn. I was given so many wonderful opportunities to immerse myself in local culture (eating food, visiting temples, spending a day in Kui village). I have made special memories for life and recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you so much to Sisaket!

Thank you, Niamh. You come here and work hard on the first day. You can handle all children and pass that. You helped me in the senior volunteer position and advised new volunteers in teaching and staying in Sisaket. Welcome back to Sisaket every time. :)

EEC Sisaket was an amazing volunteering experience. It is exactly as promoted in the rural region in the northeast close to Cambodia and Laos. This project equips you with basic teaching experience aimed at young children from ages 6 - 14 and was personally very helpful. I'd definitely come back to visit again!

My time in Si sa provided memories that will last a lifetime. The program is a special- the kids and teachers at the school are one of a kind. Even though I've only been gone a few days, I miss them all so much. Pnohm and his family are incredible. They work hard to make sure you have everything you need and go out of their way to help introduce you to Thai culture/explore Si sa ket. I highly reccomend this program to anyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of these amazing children. You'll never go hungry and if you put in the effort, you'll make genuine friendships. Thank you ECCT

Mic is a wonderful person to come to help us in Sisaket. She is a strong woman, and request more activity to teach and play with students. She doesn't want to lose free time without students. She is happy to go to learn about Thai culture and keeps slow for a wait to me explain some hard thing to explain in the English language for me. She is a good volunteer and a good traveler.

Even though I only stayed for a week this was one of the best experiences in my life! Especially P'Nohm and teacher Tukta went above and beyond to teach me about Thai culture, show me around Sisaket and feel welcomed! The students are absolutely adorable and eager to participate in class. I would definitely suggest staying at least a month because I regret leaving so soon already. Thank you guys for these unforgettable memories!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my two months with ECC Thailand! The rooms and facilities we stayed in were good and clean. We worked closely with the local school system to create English speaking classes that helped the children meet their requirements for graduating to the next grade. We worked with ages 6-14 between 9 different classes. The children are just amazing and so eager to learn, they just need more volunteers to keep a consistent run on classes. I needed my visa extended and P'Nohm was able to help me with that since there's a Visa consulate in town.

Tyler comes to help us and the school set up English speaking class. He is a lovely man and friendly with every people. Children love to learn and talk with him. He loves to learn about Thai culture. When we go to visit somewhere, he takes time and gives many questions about Thai culture to me. I love that he is interested in my culture and love to answer him. He has leadership, in teaching and others.

Hi! my experience here was far from what i expected. i came in with the expectation of doing photo/video work and was told that i would be teaching English. when i first arrived i was a bit shocked at the facilities. in my honest opinion, i feel as though the living space was unhygienic. we found a bag of rice that had bugs in it, there was no hot water and we were not given bottled water. only after we left did the host tell us the tap water was filtered. even then i'm still not sure i would trust it. the town is very rural and finding food other than snacks at 7/11 is difficult.

Dear Alexa, Sorry for your bad experience. Maybe it doesn't like your expectation, Everything will be not trust with you. I fully accept your thinking to me. We are not close to talking and exchanging minds.
I said sorry to make your mood bad. Mainly, our project focuses on helping children learn English with native speakers. After that, we expanded to promote our project (your position). The project is not my business, I fully hope and sincerely in helping children. Maybe something is not perfect. I'm said sorry to you. I will adopt everything to the best for volunteers who want to help children same as us.
