The hostel is an absolute gem! The staff and everyone there welcomed me with such warmth and kindness that I couldn't help but feel like I was part of their family. I felt that every interaction was filled with genuine care and hospitality, making my stay truly unforgettable. The hostel's traditional environment added an extra layer of charm to the experience. As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture and create memories that surely will last a lifetime. The work was super fair for the experiences that are provided, can very easly recommend! 😃

I had an awesome time during my volunteering there. Everybody is super nice and easy to talk to. You can meet people from all over the world who are staying at the hostel. Ito itself is not that exciting tbh but I enjoyed the calmness and the nature there even more if I have been to tokyo for few days.

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel Itō the hostel! The work is a lot and can be exhausting, but most of the times you finish half an hour earlier. The city itō is a small quiet city, so it is more calm and relaxing ( there is not a lot to do). The house itself is very traditional and I never felt Japan so close, because you live on tatami mats and sleep in a futon. You can also use the hostel for free everyday and you can get ¥2,000 back every week for your groceries shopping. The Staff is also very friendly and welcoming!

Ks house Itō was amazing! Everyone there was so helpful and lovely, it felt like a family. I can't thank them enough for everything they did to make my time there the best it could be. The work was not too hard but to a high standard. The location is so beautiful, such a nice sleepy town with surprisingly lots going on. I will definitely be back! I miss everyone there.

The whole team at the hostel is very warm and welcoming. The hostel is absolutely beautiful. I think I have never stayed in a more beautiful house. The work was completely reasonable, they even provided a food subsidy. The other helpers were also very good people to be around and the town, Ito, while small, really grows onto you. I was there during fireworks season which was especially nice. I can 100% recommend staying with them :) Thank you for the wonderful time!
