Rozy was an amazing host and went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. She cooked two delicious large meals a day. Rozy taught me the lesson structure and observed me teach a class before taking my own. A challenge I faced during my stay was class control with the children in the school (due to language barriers) but Rozy was able to provide support and talk to the staff to help me which was much appreciated! In my first week I had morning and evening classes, in my second week -morning afternoon and evening classes. Rozy also organised for me to have my days off at the end of my stay!

My experience at the school has been wonderful. Rosie is an amazing host making you feel like you're a part of the family. I had class in the morning and evening which leaves noon-5pm open for anything you'd like to do in the city. I started off being trained on their teaching methods and soon was running my own classrooms which made the time spent here a good learning experience. Rosie cooks two delicious meals a day that are quite large portions making them enough for the whole day. The challenge I faced was only knowing my schedule a day in advance which taught me adaptability.

I stayed for a short time (2 days) The volunteer exchange is good to share with children and to learn a new method to teach English. Bui will teach you the method to later you guide the lessons. Bui has good disposition to help and make you feel comfortable. I shared room with 1 volunteer and we got 2 meals with big portions. Around are a lot of options to complement your meals and to make laundry. Thanks for the experience and I wish the best for the education of students and project!

I enjoyed my time at the school and staying with Rosie and her family. Throughout my experience, Rosie was attentive when showing me how to teach a classroom, and later allowed me to independently teach and organise some lessons. I feel like my skills have definitely improved, and I am more confident at teaching and dealing with children. Rosie is also a very good cook, and was very hospitable throughout my stay. The family are all lovely, and showed me aspects of traditional life and experiences in Hanoi.

I had an amazing experience as a volunteer teaching children. It was very rewarding to meet the little ones and share with them. The host was exceptionally kind and always attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to make a difference in the community while having fun and learning about another culture.
