Come to our permaculture garden, at the foot of the Pyrénées, France! :)

The experience

We are restoring ecologically a earth house and looking after 2 hectares of land but we're not farmers. Organic way. You will find here an organic vegetable garden (inspired by permaculture), compost toilet, reedbed greywater recycling, rainfall tanks, ecological insulation, building "terre paille"(mudwalls) etc...
We have space, calm and view .
We know well the weeds (medicinal and edible ones )and will show you how to prepare delicious dishes.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent French or Fluent English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Nous parlons français, anglais, italien couramment et apprenons l'espagnol : merci aux espagnols de nous aider avec cette langue. You can write us in all theese 4 languages.
We need people who love being outside and gardening.
We have no pets but know well the bugs, insects, birds, and wild animals of the place.

Activities & Shift

Work : 9h-13h from monday to friday. WE off.
We are in a small village 1 hour from the Pyrénées, 1 hour south of Toulouse and 1 hour from Spain by car.
