This was my first Worldpackers position and it was a really great experience! Amanda and Graham were great hosts and I got to learn a good bit about construction while I was here. Hours were very well respected and the cooked lunches were very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

It was an unbeatable experience. Free times and meals are respected. The landscapes, unbeatable, there is a castle very close that can be visited on foot or by bicycle. Amanda and Graham are two very kind and generous people. The dinners that Amanda prepares are great. Graham, for his part, is an excellent and patient teacher who will provide you with all his knowledge while you help him at work. When we had to leave, we had problems with our train ticket and they helped us solve it.

Amanda and Graham are very friendly, they like to talk, but they also know how to respect personal space. They complied with absolutely all offers, including meals. It is a volunteer work focused on construction and renovation and the work and the day are adequate. Strictly respect the timetable. On weekends, they offer us rides and we can explore neighboring villages. The experience was very positive, thanks and I hope they are very successful in the home project.

Luca and I had a fantastic time at the home - Amanda and Graham were awesome hosts. The caravan had some issues at the start of the stay but we voiced our concerns and were offered a fabulous alternative. Thank you Graham and Amanda, we can't wait to see the end result and wish you all the best!

We had a wonderful time working with Amanda and Graham. The work was fulfilling (we like getting our hands dirty), we look forward to seeing the final product once all the gites are complete. The food was wonderful! Amanda and Graham were kind enough to purchase groceries that we wanted for the meals we would prepare ourselves. We had an issue with the caravan initially - there was no running water and a couple other problems - but this was solved quickly as we were invited to stay at their friends' hire and pet sit two gorgeous kittens. All was amazing in the end, thank you for having us!

It took me a long time to really sit down and think about what exactly to say. Amanda and Graham are wonderful people off the job. On the job, the host can be a bit demanding. The nature and the load of work will leave you depleted of energy once the working day is done. Hence, I couldn't really go anywhere else. Besides, things are extremely far away from the host's house. This means if you wanna go anywhere, you can walk for at least half an hour, take the host's bike, or rely on their schedule. But other than that, the experience was okay!

Great experience! This was my first world packers experience and it was more than fine. Amanda and Graham made me feel welcome all through the time I was here, and nothing was ever a trouble. I also learned some new skills. I explored several local areas and was asked several times if I wanted to join on their outings (a lot of the time I was happy to stay in and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet!). If you aren't scared of doing a bit of hard work and getting a little bit dirty in the process - then give this one a crack! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product in 2023/2024!

Mariane and I had an excellent experience. We enjoyed a beautiful place in France, improved our English and made new friends. We are grateful and happy to be able to help Amanda, Graham, and our colleagues, Paloma and Santiago.

I couldn't have chosen a better place in the world to start my Worldpackers experience! the home is an absolute pearl and the surroundings too. Amanda and Graham are amazing people. I had the opportunity to practice my English and connect with nature.

I don't want to deter anyone, in the end I found it to be an okay experience. The hosts play nice. Amanda puts effort into making different and interesting meals everyday. I found Graham to be a softer reprise. I wouldn't enthusiastically suggest it for anyone on the autism spectrum (like me). The adventures I sought on the outside were either not open to the public (Lascaux Caves) or gimmicky and catered to tourists, so I settled for exploring the town which they were kind enough to transport me to when it fit within their schedules. The Saturday market was a favorite of mine.
