What you offer

Hours per week: Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

What you get

Days off per week: Have some time off for yourself, go explore the city or rest for a while.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Support: Get help from the Worldpackers support team in case you need it, at any point of your trip.

The Experience

Experience the awesome mountains, wilderness and beauty of Yukon and Alaska! Help me live a rustic northern wilderness life. Some dementia and arthritis slows me down, but we can go on roadtrips to hot springs in Yukon and BC, and do crazy wilderness activities. Be yourself or be a mermaid in the lake! Push your comfort zone! Now retired after 13 years and 358 guests from many sites, I only take one guest at a time, openings fill quickly!!

If you want the luxury of waking up to beautiful sunrises, counting endless stars in the night sky and seeing amazing sceneries, this experience is for you! I am so glad I stumbled upon Stephen here on Worldpackers because these last two months have been a blast. I got to learn so much about the Yukon and life up there and am amazed by Stephens knowledge of history. I got out of my comfort zone and am so grateful for it. Kasthin's misadventures is a unique experience that Will be with you forever. Stephen is an incredible person with lots of knowlege about the area and its history. You will explore the place with the best guide ever, spot any kind of wildlife and learn a lot about the Life in Yukon now and in the past. Even the longest stay will seem shorter. This is a nice place to get in touch with nature and learn about the history of the golden rush and the Alaska Hw; Stephen is a really good person, and he is always thinking about the way of making his guests happy and to feel comfortable.
