The Experience

We are a family of 3 (Me, my fiancé and my mum) running a hostel in Ohrid. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment for travelers from all over the world and make their stay in Ohrid unforgettable. It's not a type of hostel that is ran and managed only by volunteers. We are working hard for the guests and focusing a lot for creating off site & on site activities. So basically we will be a team and splitting the daily responsibilities.

The work is easy and I had flexible hours. But the thing about volunteering here is to be invited to be part of the family. You feel like home and you are treated as if you were always here. I totally recommend it for any traveler who wants to have deep connections with local people, is someone sociable and is whiling to genuinely know people. Filip, Winnie and Mama, I loved the experience and I will be back soon. Thank you for everything. Excited to see the next version of the hostel after all renovations you started.
