I only stayed a few days because it was not what I expected. First day working I was told to just watch the other person work the whole day, but it was meaningless. I got no responsibility. This does not work for me but other people might like it. I didn't like the rooms either, mine smelled bad and the ac didn't work, too small space to stay for a month. I don't think that the people were welcoming and the vibe was off. When I told the girl who "hired" me that I wanted to leave she didn't even want to talk about why. I think this sais a lot! No will to communicate with me.

We are sorry for your dissatisfaction.
You didn't stay long enough to take on more responsibilities, you announced at the last minute that you would leave
You got late for the first shift and showed up for the second 3 hours after the start of the shift.
We warned you that another late arrival would not be tolerated, we put you on a different schedule and you simply said you would leave.
Our volunteer proposal for non-Portuguese speakers is to assist at the reception, which is why you didn't receive many tasks during the two-day period you stayed.

The experience at the hostel was great! Working hours and days off we're flexible, the location was amazing and the rest of the crew received me very well. There is always something fun going on and it's super easy to get to know new people. The shifts are usually very chill. Can definitely recommend to anyone (especially if you like going out ;) )

Sem dúvida uma das melhores experiências que eu já tive viajando, já fui diversas vezes no Rio e nenhuma outra me proporcionou tantas experiências positivas e tantas amizades. Colaborei com as trilhas e as tours, então não foi de fato um trabalho porque eu mais me divertia do que me sentia na obrigação de ter que realizar tal atividade. Os staffs e demais voluntários são incríveis, pessoas que quero encontrar em outras viagens e até mesmo quando voltar para o Rio. O hostel tem atividades todos os dias o que incentiva a você se conectar com outras pessoas. Só tenho a agradecer. Vlw, família<3

Foi um staff essencial pro nosso time.
Organizava as trilhas, levava todos para praia, city tour, festas, barcos etc
É uma pessoa super responsável e carismática
Sempre a disposição para realizar qualquer tarefa solicitada e sempre as faziam com muito carinho
Nossos hospedes e nosso time teve o prazer de conhece-lo.

O hostel e Incrível! As gerentes Kety e Melissa, são 2 pessoas SENSACIONAIS, super educadas e maleáveis se você precisa de algo delas :). O hostel vem gente do mundo todo então, pratiquei e tenho praticado muito meu inglês. As pessoas que trabalham lá que fiz amizade, são ótimas pessoas, quero levar pra vida. Os voluntários, prestativos.o hostel tem uma estrutura incrível, todo dia tem free caipirinha das 20 às 20:30h então não é motivo pra você não socializar ou fazer amizade com alguém. Quero levar o hostel e as pessoas que conheci para vida. Agradeço a Kety e Meli pela oportunidade ✨🩵
