The experience

We are looking for volunteers to help work around the farm.

Some gardening, maintenance, cleaning, and a variety of other light jobs.

You'll have a very large luxury caravan hat is fully equipped with fridge, kitchen, and bathroom. You will be expected to keep it clean and leave it as you found it at the end.

It is possible that you could be sharing with others if it is very busy. Is that OK? There are two double beds.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner French

Between 18 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We run an organic farm but it gets busy and we looking for volunteers to help with the general running of the farm. Some light work that would include gardening and generally helping out with daily tasks including harvesting and cleaning vegetables for selling.

Activities & Shift

Working in the market garden.
There is a lot to do so it will be varied.
During the hottest days of the year we rest or go swimming in our natural pond or just swing in a hammock and read books.

Rules

Work diligently - do things correctly and follow instructions.
Respect the family members and general home rules.
No drugs or alcohol to be consumed before or during work.
