The experience

Our school is located within a community belonging to the Thai mountain Hmong tribe. Most of them are Buddhists, and some still adhere to ancestor worship. This community is still holding on to their tribal traditions firmly. The student's parents are engaged in agriculture and have a beautiful culture. They make their own traditional clothing and embroidery such as clothes, hats, bags, tablecloths, cushions and accessories.

Program Details

Located in the North of Thailand, we are a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improve education opportunities and the quality of life of underprivileged children and youths in the rural areas of Phayao Province. With the support of our local and foreign volunteers, we are dedicated to give our students the necessary life skills and knowledge that they can utilize to enhance their lives and the lives of their families and community. We are comprised of a community that shows concern for the world and its inhabitants. The group’s core objective is to connect passionate, open-minded, and respectful individuals to motivate, inspire, and elevate one another as well as those around them. We greatly appreciate your help and kindness, so that together, we can make the world a better place.

Activities & Shift

We are currently welcoming volunteers to assist us with some of our rural public schools that are in need of help with the teaching of the English language. Our foreign volunteers will be sent to these schools to assist the Thai English teachers in their classrooms which can make a much needed positive impact on the lives of the students and their families. We invite you to come teach Basic English to our students from Kindergarten through 9th grade, in our school that is located in a small village in the countryside. You do not need to speak Thai. We are looking for English speakers to help our students to learn English basic conversation and verbal communication. Volunteers will interact with students alone while the local teacher will be with you in the classroom in case you need any assistance. Prior teaching experience is a plus!
