What an adventure heading up into Austrian mountains for a month! Thank you Andrea and Frank for having me, and it was lovely to meet Michael and Claudia also. All friendly, welcoming people who provide a cosy, casual, sociable place for lovers of the outdoors. Set up in the mountains, surrounded by snowy tree dotted hills, perfect for exploring. I enjoyed learning to ski and walking the many snowy footpaths. Workwise, I mostly served food and drinks, some busier times and some quieter times, and I enjoyed meeting the lovely guests! I hope to return in summertime one day!

First of all: the guest house is a fantastic place to spend time if you love being in the nature/mountains. You are completely away from any civilization in a cozy house. I spent most of my working time in the kitchen (baking, cooking, washing dishes) and enjoyed it very much. I had also the opportunity to explore other tasks like bartending, cleaning or snow shoveling. Your skills/talents/wishes are taken into account when possible. I also loved spending time with other worldpackers/workers from all over the world. I definitely recommend this experience.

My experience at the guest house was amazing, all the staff were welcoming and lovely and the work was never more than agreed on. The location is beautiful (although be aware it is not easy to get to) and the food is delicious! Wish I could've spent more time at the guest house thankyou so much for an amazing two weeks!

The overall experience was good I met some cool people the locals are great. I had some disappointments with the reality of the costs that I was told (and not told) about but since the issues were pointed out they have updated their page. Just know there will not be rentals available on the mountain and they are pretty expensive. The lodge managers are new so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but during my stay the lodge was severely understaffed leading to long underpaid working hours for the paid employees due to the owners reliance on and mismanagement of Worldpackers.

It was very pretty but not what I hoped. Not safe for women. The room not as photoed- a small room with three mattresses on the floor, and no room for luggage. I wasn't made aware it costs 27 Euros to ride the cable car necessary each time you leave and come back (stops running at 4:30). Skiing and rentals are not cheap. Severe staff shortages led to working long shifts and days off, exceeding 25 hrs. Frank wasnt respectful of the agreement so 2 WP to left and 1 got kicked out all during my one-week stay. I felt like it was a business trying to cut costs exploting WP and their staff.
