I have been fortunate to have had many great Worldpacker experiences, but I've never learned as much as I have from Emma. She taught me about edible plants and how to make teas from them, as well as tons about the wildlife on the property. We discussed wellbeing and sustainability--a really wide gamut of subjects. It was a privilege to live on such a spectacular tract of land, 22 beautiful acres of meadows and woods, with roe deer as my neighbors.

Emma and Rob are nice people and got to know Andrew (the other volunteer) who is also a very hardworking and nice man. Overall you will be doing hard physical work so I would not recommend if you are not really fit and strong since it can be really hard at times. You have to note that it is a very off grid place and basic needs are going to be a challenge if you are not used to the lifestyle (Showering, toilet, eating). This was my first expierence as a volunteer and maybe would not recommend for a first time. Other than that I think Emma is a very hardworking woman and I wish her the best.

Overall was an amazing time, not just the Center as a place but the people I'm the local community was top notch. Emma and Rob was amazing, caring and so supportive. The other volunteers and the people I got to meet was once in a lifetime opportunity, will never forget 😊 work was easy, Emma is super flexible and it was just an enjoyment overall. Emma does everything to try to include you, so you never feel like you missed out on something. Local experience, walks, pubs and just your overall health. She took care of everything. Would totally recommend, for sure I'm coming back to visit 🤝

Staying in the Center was more than a volunteer. I connected with the place, the nature and new people. I learned so much with Emma and Rob! They are lovely, kind and friendly, always trying to make me feel at home. And, of course, it happened, now I'm missing they all (including Bobo, the lovely cat). The project is a big opportunity to reconnect with ourselves and with the nature. It's a peaceful place with gorgeous views. It's nice to wake up and see all those green views. Thank you, Emma, for everything you taught me, I will keep it with me in all my journey. Hope to see you again someday.

The Center is AMAZING! Such an incredible experience was made possible through the fantastic host Emma. She deeply cares about the mission of the Center and has a genuine passion for the land and nature. I learned so much about native species and foraging. She is so welcoming and wants everyone to get the most out of their volunteer experience. Definitely consider volunteering at the Center!
