The experience

Beautiful country home and garden are asking politely for a mature, fit and capable someone to help look after them. Live for free; some meals happily provided. Ideally, a long-term situation would develop. There is excellent internet service so this position would suit a remote worker.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 40 and 65 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

General gardening work, tree pruning and maintenance, home maintenance as needed.

Activities & Shift

There are no work shifts. The ideal volunteer would have prior knowledge of and experience with garden tools and equipment: mower, strimmer, chainsaw, etc. Day-to-day tasks are varied, and just depends on what takes priority at the time. It could be mowing, strimming... Always much to do to keep the place running smoothly.
