The experience

Looking for help on the vineyard. Manual labor on the field & helping in the tasting room. Days off will be Sunday and Monday so that you can plan for fun things. Looking for down time to relax this is your place, 10 acres of peace & quiet. MUST LOVE BIG DOGS & be respectful and CLEAN! Dog sitting a must.
We can come get you from Brownwood, there is a shuttle that takes you from MCO to Brownwood. Any questions please ask, were here to help.


What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Over 21 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We have a need for someone who can work independently around the property with clear direction. Pruning grapes and helping around the farm. Doggie daycare at times.
2 days bartending in the tasting room helping guest, Help with housekeeping as needed. Must be neat and tidy.


Activities & Shift

Pruning grapes and helping around the farm, Mowing, and projects around the house. helping in the production of wine when in season: Wednesday and Thursdays

2 days- in the tasting room helping guest: Fridays and Saturdays.


Rules

Must love large dogs.
No visitors, No parties
Must be respectful and understanding of all guests.
Must be clean and able to clean up daily and work with a cleaning schedule.
Understand that bar is only open during business hours and no one is allowed during off hours
