The Experience

Life in the countryside of hazelnut grove on Etna is simple ,hard but rewarding .We have various animals ,hazelnuts of which we have to collect in the period of September/October, guests from all over the world who come to visit us,a kitchen to let people taste our products.

Having spent this time with a traditional Italian family not only let me be immerse in varied aspects of their culture, their language, their idiosyncrasy, but it also let me visit picturesque and amazing natural places. I was invited to the kids' final festivals, to the beach, to the theatre, to outdoors live music shows and to share delicious typical food at friends' houses. With reference to work the instructions were provided in a clear and precise way.

We stayed for 1 month. The work to be done was easy and the schedules were flexible, we were autonomous on the tasks to be done and we are very happy with the work we had the opportunity to do. We were able to take a very nice walk near the volcano with the host's. For the rest of our stay we decided to rent a car to be able to move more easily and be able to visit Sicily (which is beautiful) Stefano and Cristina are very nice. Thank you for their welcome 🙏

Pase unos hermosos dias en la naturaleza rodeada de animales, las tareas son claras y sencillas. Cristina y su familia nos llevaron a la playa, al centro y a un festival increíble que quedara marcado en mi corazón para siempre.

La experiencia fue BUENA en general, los anfitriones nos recibieron a mi amiga y a mi en su hogar, nos dieron un Camper solo para dormir, ya que no tiene ni baño ni cocina (Usamos el del restaurant para nosotros) las tareas son muy sencillas y Cristina y Stefano son flexibles con el trabajo. La idea es ayudar y aportar en todo lo que se pueda en la granja. Hay muchos animales y la conexión con la naturaleza, eso es genial. En mi estadía las tareas fueron, limpiar y ordenar las habitaciones del hotel y mantener la limpieza del restaurant. también aprendimos a limpiar los arboles de avellanas!
