The Experience

Hello, I am Kristina, and managing the account for the owner, Jinkyung. At the stable are three workers who take care of 23 horses and 4 dogs. We need help with feeding them, cleaning the stables and doing other general maintenance tasks. You will help 5 hours from Tue to Sun and every second Monday you need to help a little bit. You shouldn't be afraid of horses and be prepared to do physical work.

My one and only advice: go there! Jinkyung and her team are so so so welcoming and adorable and you really become part of the family if you stay for a while~ traditional food everyday for lunch and dinner, going to play 8-ball, 노래방 and many other things <3 even though the work is physically hard it is also very rewarding and you get to know many people here, showing you different perspectives and experiences!! Truly a wonderful place if you are willing to work hard ^^ the fruits of your labor are more than you could imagine~ If that didn't convince you : we have dogs and a cat hehe :D

I stayed at the farm horsepark for 2 month and overall had a good time the only thing I wish I'd done differently is to learn some more Korean beforehand since many of the workers don't really speak English. Also I think you might have a bit of a overwhelming start if you have no experience with horses or barnwork but you will get used to it eventually! In exchange for your hard work you get to experience A LOT of authentic Korean cuisine, since we went out to eat most of the time and also did some fun evening activities like golf or karaoke.
