The Experience

We are looking for a hand with jobs around the property. Building decorating filling sanding painting tiling etc ,we have 3 donkeys & 3 beautiful dogs . We have 2 grown up kids that dont live at home. We are in a rural area with a small village nearby. Bigger towns not far. We can drive you to town . Free room and board . We look forward to welcoming you to the bog lands of Offaly Ireland

If you're thinking about joining the home Experience, you're doing the right thing. This place is magical! Shirley, Martin, Evan, Anna, Jerry, Rachael and of course Uncle Pat will make you feel right at home. They are a loving and interesting family. They asked me to help them with organizing a pop-up sale, cleaning and some marketing tasks. I spent almost 2 weeks with them and the dynamic was so great that I regretted leaving so early. It was my first WP experience. About the home itself, I can say that it's a very comfortable, nice and quiet place surrounded by nature. Super top 👌

It was my first experience as a voluntaree and I'm so happy to start this adventure with them in Ireland. They are a wonderful family. Their warm welcome and generosity made my time here truly special and part of their family. Always they ask how you fell and if everything it's ok. I was a month with them and everything was lovely. The tasks are easy, simple and always you learn something new. Even I had the opportunity to meet with two lovely guys from Chile. Thank you Shirl, Martin, Uncle Pat and all family for everything. You did very warm my stay in this beautiful country!!

This was my first experience volunteering and I would happily do it again. They are a super welcoming family, from the first moment they were concerned about my well-being and offering help with everything. Ireland is a super cold place and they were always worried about making sure I didn't get cold. Shirley, Martin, Evan, Uncle Pat, Anna, Gerry and the dogs (Alfie, Arya, Diego and Polly) make this experience unique. They make you feel like you are one of the family. Mainly the tasks are helping around the house and helping to make the home a welcoming place. Thank you for everything!
