The experience

Built in 1779 and surrounded by Vineyards, Olive trees and Lavender, my home becomes a Holiday Rental and Bed & Breakfast from spring to autumn.
During the winter the house needs to be organised and the garden need to be prepared for winter and the following spring.
General help is needed to assist with household duties, cleaning, washing, and carrying out minor decoration as well as organising the house and clearing and tidying the garden.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent French

Under 49 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

People should be prepared to work well, be given a task and complete it properly without being lazy.
The work is physical but not too difficult, training given if necessary.
Provided you work well, you will be well rewarded.

Activities & Shift

5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Flexible and negotiable.
Early risers preferred - makes it easier to deal with the heat outside.
Normally Monday to Friday but possibility to switch days.
