The Experience

You will be working with other volunteers, guests, and interns helping with gardening, caring for chickens, light construction and maintenance projects. You may also help with setting up for events we host at our farm. In addition to your working hours you will be expected to help with a few meals each week and with the cleaning of shared spaces. Days off are typically Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I had the most amazing two weeks with Ken and Sue atthethethe farm. I felt welcomed and part of the family. They are the nicest, most generous people I have ever met. I highly recommend them to everyone. On your time off theres many trails to explore, go into town if you have a car or watch a movie on the projector. They work is super easy and Sue does amazing at explaining what needs to be done. It was an experience I will never forget and I cant wait to come again next year.

My experience at the farm was wholesome. Ken and Sue were very hospitable. They treated me like their own daughter and I never felt like a stranger at all. I was amused by their kindness & generosity. They are both wonderful people who dictated their lives over the past 20 year helping young adults to grow. If you haven't visited the farm yet, believe me you are missing out. The farm is very tremendous and it's a perfect getaway to mediate, and connect with nature. The work is existing and doable. There are various things you can work on and experience for the first time.

Ken & Sue went above and beyond to make it feel like home and it did. Tbh I didn't unpack during the first week at all cause I was waiting for the other shoe to drop but it turned out to be an awesome place with cool people.. I'd definitely go back.
