I think words fail me when I try to describe my time at the guest house. I truly felt like part of the family. Annie, Pete, and Gus made me feel so welcome and comfortable. They were always checking in to see if I was happy, asking if I was tired, and telling me to take a 10-minute break. They made sure we had eaten and had plans to explore the beautiful region. You'll basically be living in peace and quiet, only hearing the sheep, cows, and chickens. I'm really going to miss everything! And of course, the interaction with Irish culture was incredible.

It was an amazing and immersive experience. I met a lot of people from all the world. The house was cold and little bit mess but I had been warned by Annie, so It's was ok for me. Annie and Pete are very nice and flexible. It was good for me to be in countryside, it's a beautiful, calm, nears to the forest and lake. I improved my English and I am more confidente to speak.

The guest house is the kind of place you don't expect much from when you arrive and when you're leaving you realize you've had more experiences than you imagined. The family has a beautiful energy, the house is always full of music, dancing, friends, parties and lots of love. The work is smooth, everyone is always very friendly, flexible and helpful. It's certainly a unique experience. Thank you Annie, Peter and all the incredible people I've met in this place I now call home. I'll miss you! ❤️

Fantastic experience! Annie, Pete, and everyone at the guest house are all incredible and kind people who make you feel right at home. They go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and included. The tasks vary, as there is always something to be done, and there is flexibility. I learned quite a lot about the traditional Irish dance and music, which was an awesome cultural immersion. The house was a tad cold, since it was winter time, but manageable in my opinion. My experience at the guest house will forever be in my heart. Thank you for everything!

I don't think the place has the minimum conditions of habitability. The house is basically in semi-ruins. Everything is very dirty and dusty. The kitchen is basically unhealthy. The bedroom is messy (that's the least of it), but it's also quite dirty. And the jewel in the crown is the bathroom. It has no ceiling and the walls are full of green mould up to waist height (there are cleaner stables). In short, when I saw that, I left.I feel sorry for Gus, because he seemed like a very nice guy, but I don't think that house is habitable.

It clearly states in the description that part of the house is still under renovation. It's not perfect but that is the reason we receive volunteers We receive many volunteers, if you look back at the reviews you'll see how many people have given us 5 star reviews and had a fantastic time here. I'm sorry it didn't suit you, but your opinion is not everybodys
