The Experience

Looking for help from mid-July until mid-August The hostel is in an old house (built in 1914!) but entirely renovated. We have a big backyard (about 1000m²). We're looking for someone who wants to stay at the hostel in exchange for a bit of help. We can accept a couple in September/October: one for this position and the other for the reception position.

I absolutely loved my Worldpackers experience in the hostel! The work load was manageable and the agreed working hours and days off were kept. Céline and her brothers are kind and will help you out. The atmosphere with the bar is unique and the location in the hostel itself too! I spend a lot of time outside, discovering the lake and the mountains around. I would definitely recommend the experience if you are looking for a relaxed opportunity to connect to nature.

Overall this was an amazing experience! Céline was kind and I became friends with the other volunteers and many of the people staying at the hostel. The work was easy and I always finished in the agreed hours. There was so much to do in the hostel and neighboring towns even in winter! Thank you so much for having me! I would definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone!

I had a wonderful time in the hostel! The work is straightforward. Céline and Alex are very nice and always there to help if you have any questions. the hostel is really beautiful; it's a perfect place to visit if you love hiking and biking or simply want to relax. One of the best experiences of my life! I had so much fun working here! Work was fair and chill. Loved getting to know everyone especially my roommates who were amazing! the hostel is such a beautiful place, there is so much to do and see! I would 100 percent recommend this experience!

My stay at the hostel was amazing. It is such a beautiful place, with lots to do & explore in and around the region. The work was super chill, with time of respected, giving you the opportunity to meet lots of international travellers and get to know the area!
