Colin & Alexandra respondeu
Our home has an average of 4.4 - 4.8 out of 5 stars for cleanliness, with 8 years & near 500 reviews: http://www.airbnb.ca/users/show/66233492 Yes, there are rat TRAPS in our studio kitchen, as is necessary in any commercial food venture, which is why there are NO rodents. Our reality is as in photos, but Canada has four seasons and Fab has never experienced a winter garden. He came April 1st, when forest gardens are hibernating & look dead for spring clean up time. :) Every being in our circle is self directed and entrepreneurial in focus, choosing their own tasks & hours. Fabrizio did sign up to do deep cleaning projects which must be done in every home and can be daunting. In an old heritage 1940s built farm house, maintenance is paramount. Yes, as mentioned, past date pantry staples keep indefinitely; natural and organic cookies, biscuits or crackers are here from a food recovery project and our community is hugely thankful for this gorgeously green abundance. Casual, conversational English tutoring happens daily, paid private tutoring is offered. Yes, we walk nude from the pool into the house to get drinks or use the bathroom when we are sunbathing. All guests and volunteers must be comfortable with natural nudity in this clothing optional environment. Fabrizio even encouraged a nude brunch party with airbnb guests who requested one as part of their private eco gathering. Fabrizio has decent "nice guy" charm but with little to no comprehension or communication exchange with those around him. We learned not to judge a book by its' cover. A beautiful Latina prima donna - and a challenging first worldpacker experience: he refused to share a room or sleep in the teepee as booked and instead received a private room with king bed. All volunteers are asked to schedule their own work hours and submit a work log each week, Fabrizio never did. He snapped lots of social media content, but never submitted a photo. Colin & Alexandra host private yoga practice most days, with naked yoga classes weekly with Wan on the patio in the summer season - Fabrizio was informed of our schedules and invited to yoga, garden, kitchen, reading, games, music and chill time, but rarely chose to participate. He spent 90% of his time cleaning or busy on social media games to be with us, here, now in real life. We were disappointed. It is unfortunate that Fabrizio paid $25 USD per day to clean our shared home. He did not want to learn; only do his "work hours" like self imagined cheap labor and get out... while treating us like distant employers rather than friends or collaborative partners, co-creating a shared eco life. His arrogance steals the show, in constant judgement, he always knows best. He accidentally, without permission or consultation, decimated a winter garden & destroyed over a decade of growth ( a huge loss & hard to breathe through ) by playing "head gardener" instead of cleaning & scrubbing the front siding on the cottage with soapy water, brush & hose as specifically requested (this task never happened). Poor English language skills are to blame with no knowledge or experience in a mature temperate permaculture food forest garden. He was thrilled when all the "messy dead gardens" he had not yet ripped out, began to sprout and bloom. In a small close knit home space, we did not experience the long hours he complains; he generally started work around noon & finished around 4pm. We did notice every spare moment was spent in his private room, on his phone with virtual humans, instead of engaging with the real ones beside him. We mostly had a good time with him despite his huge mistakes. Sad that he left after 4 weeks, haughty, indignant, arrogant, insecure & offended, without ever discussing any of these issues with us, coincidentally, when he secured a nice doctor on grindr to play house with. Perhaps that was his real intention all along.
