This was my first time volunteering and it has been life-changing. My staff quickly became my family and I'm incredibly grateful to have lived this experience with them. I found fulfillment in creating deep connections with liked-minded people from all around the world. I have learned so much about myself—what I value, what I want, what I don't like and what I love. I recommend an open mind and coming in with little expectations. Give from a place of love & you shall receive the same. It has been a beautiful experience that I will take with me forever ❤️

Party hostelllll! Accommodation is an 8 bed in the hostel. Gorgeous deck to go out on. Just fyi most of the hostel doesn't have a roof and is mainly outdoors except for the dorms of course. It can get a little chilly in winter. Being on the beach is amazing, the manager STACIE IS AWESOME. You will have so much fun here! You can also stay at other the hostel's for free while you're here and it's nice to travel around cali/mexico.

I spent 4 weeks in the Hostel and I had an amazing time. The Hostel Facilities are great, the location right at Pacific Beach is perfect and you find everything you need in the area. You can walk everywhere. From day 1 I Felt very welcomed, the other volunteers are super nice, so are the guests. I will never forget the lovely place.

I absolutely LOVED my time at the hostel! I've never felt so at home so quickly somewhere before :) The work was fun, I made so many new friendships with the guests and my co-workers, the views of the beach and sunset were INCREDIBLE and every day was a new adventure filled with laughter and good energy! When my month was up and I had to leave, I experienced a level of homesickness after leaving the hostel that I didn't even feel leaving my own home! I will cherish my time spent at the hostel and the friends I made there forever <3 I would 100% recommend this worldpackers gig to everyone!

The hostel is a family, it's not a common place, as soon you step into the door you can feel how viby is this place. For me the best hostel in San Diego in terms of location (priceless in front of the beach) and experience. The people who run this place are just amazing and it's so easy to feels home. Also if you're looking for the authentic Californian beach vibes you don't have to looking for nothing else. As a volunteer you have a lot of liberty during your shifts and you end up doing your things right cause you love the place not cause you have to. <3 love you

Out of all the hostels I've stayed or volunteered at over the years, I had some the best times and moments here at this one that I can never forget. Made so many new friends that came with amazing memories that I'll never forget. Good times! I had a good time being a volunteer and I'm grateful to contributed my time in being the best volunteer I can be here in helping the hostel out. Just want to thank the staff, Michael and Eunicia. They've been good managers and just want to thank Steve for giving me the opportunity to volunteer for the hostel these past 4 months. Its been great! Thanks Steve!
