The experience

Kinti Wasi is a dream place, a habitat created for our beautiful hummingbirds and birds of passage that visit us all year round. You will see them fly closely from the garden. We also have a variety of beautiful flowers and trees.
We offer you access to our common areas: terrace, barbecue, gardens, hammocks, kitchen, laundry, lounges, work spaces and gardens, so you can relax in your free time.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Program Details

The volunteer program at Kinti Wasi seeks to provide help to those volunteers who want to exchange 4 hours of work a day for accommodation and food in our Guest House. It's a very calm and relaxed environment, since we are a small family, and the offer consists of the following:

A bed to rest, breakfast and lunch from Monday to Friday.
During the week you will have one day off and after your 4 hours of work you can dedicate your time to your personal activities and tourism in the area.
Additionally, we will give you access to all the common areas.

Finally, close to our guest house is located the Apu Callacpuma, a protective mountain of Cajamarca where cave paintings and many ancient stories reside. We will recommend the best places to visit for your initiation into the spirituality of the Andean worldview on your trip.

Activities & Shift

The activities we need from the volunteers are the following:

*Welcome guests, help them check in and inform them about Kinti Wasi.
*Table preparation for breakfast and cleaning service after pick-up.
*Room cleaning at check out.
*Cleaning of common areas.

Shifts are usually in the morning from 7AM to 11AM, 8AM to 12PM or in the afternoon from
3PM to 7PM.

Rules

We want you to feel at home, so we will give you a set of keys so you can get in and out of the guest house as you wish.
The most important rule is to always leave the entrance doors to the accommodation and the house always closed, and also to always smoke in the gardens, we have a lot of space outdoors.
