The Experience

We are looking for people who love working in the kitchen & help with chopping, peeling, and taking orders. Prior experience in a kitchen is required if you would like to cook. You can help us curate a menu using the local ingredients and help with the service. On busy days, we serve 30-35 people in the hostel and the working hours would be around 5- 6 hours a day. Basic English is required. You are free to use the kitchen whenever.

My stay at the hostel was full of experiences, Neha and Akhil are very generous and willing to make the volunteers discover the surroundings and Indian culture. They trusted me to manage the hostel while they were away, but were always available to answer my messages if I had any doubts. I felt warm welcomed since my first step in Kotagiri and enjoyed a good relationship with Neha throughout my stay. See you soon in France!

Maravilloso! Lo más importante que me queda del hostel es una amiga inolvidable!. Gracias Neha por apasionarte tanto como yo con el arte del mosaiquismo, gracias por las risas (por las nippers y las eighteen nights :). Gracias Akhil por dejarme poner una pantera, para que cuide el hostel. Worldpacker: si quieres encontrar clima y comida deliciosa, anfitriones amables, divertidos, que te hacen ser parte de su familia, si quieres enamorarte de Djaco un golden inolvidable que te cuida mientras meditas y de su hermana princesa Sjansa, ven al hostel.
