The experience

"Welcome to our Early Childhood Education Program in the heart of Chamazi, Tanzania, where every child's potential is nurtured and celebrated. Our program is dedicated to providing quality education and care to vulnerable children from less advantaged families in our neighborhood.

At our center, we believe that every child deserves access to a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment, regardless of their background.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers pay 10£ to cover the expenses of their stay like accommodation, electricity, water and toiletries

Program Details

We're excited to invite passionate individuals who are eager to make a difference in the lives of young children. As an assistant early childhood educator, you'll play a crucial role in providing love, care, and support to children aged 1.5 to 6 years old.

Volunteers in our program don't need professional experience; what matters most is your passion, warmth, and willingness to collaborate. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

1.Childcare Assistance You'll be a caring presence for our little ones, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, reading stories, and providing gentle guidance as they explore and learn.

2.Mealtime Support Assist in meal preparation, serving food, and ensuring that children have a nutritious and enjoyable dining experience. You will help in cleaning up afterward.

Activities & Shift


The main daily activity is being assistant teacher at the school and baby sitter. You will be dealing with the children in one of our nursery school, help them with teaching, playing, singing, dancing etc.


Volunteers supposed to work 5-6 hours per day, 5 days in a week. From 09:00 am to 02:00 pm.

Rules

We strongly recommend volunteers to cover your knees and shoulders when you're doing social projects like teaching at the nursery school. We advice volunteers to respect local people and their culture and be attentively from their host.
