I really enjoyed my stay here! The working hours were great and the work is easy! (we usually worked 2-3 hours a day) We had a translator in the classroom, which made teaching much easier! Vũ was a great host, he always helped us if we needed anything. He made sure we had a great time and even organized some trips to different places for us. We had lunch and dinner with him everyday. We stayed in a flat with two other great volunteers and had everything we needed! I would really recommend this volunteer opportunity:) thanks Vũ!

Volunteering here has definitely been an enriching experience for me and my friend! We stayed in an really nice apartment with two other lovely volunteers. Vũ would take us out for lunch and dinner. He also went on several trips with us, including his hometown to meet his family and friends. We teached in his the school in the evenings and in some kindergardens, the kids are so cute! Vũ is a great host, he really cares about his volunteers, he is so funny and also very honest and just tries his best to make your stay great :) So we also extended for a few weeks, thanks!

Had a great time here. Vũ was a great host who cares deeply about his school, the students and the volunteers, he's also a very nice person to be around. The work was fine, easy hours and work. Took a few days to get used to the schedule but no problem overall. Vũ would meet us for lunch/dinner everyday and even took us out on days off to different places around Phan Rang and his hometown. Living conditions were also great, we stayed in his spare flat with two other volunteers, flat was very nice and clean. Would highly recommend this experience, had a great time!

Really recommend it! Vũ it's an amazing host, always there for you if you need anything. He showed us around the town and temples, provided us with delicious local food and also arranged a cute picnic at a river in his hometown to meet his family! He deeply cares about his school and his students; the job it's easy, suitable for beginners. The hours are amazing (a few hours on the evening and sometimes an hour the morning) so you have the whole day to discover the city.

I had a great experience with Vu. He is very kind and if you need something he'll help you. He will take you to local restaurants and introduce you to his friends, so you'll have a taste of the real and authentic Vietnam. You will work in Vu's the school and in other kindergartens for a total of 15 hours a week, but keep in mind that you will have to plan your lessons. I really enjoyed the work, but it can be stressful sometimes, especially with toddlers. Phan Rang is very nice and typical. More touristic locations like Da Lat or Nha Trang are not too far away. The only day off is Saturday.

Volunteering at Vu's the school was definitely an enriching experience for me! Vu is a helpful and friendly person. During our free time, we did lots of things with him and he even invited us to his hometown. Most of the time, the work was fun. In total, I worked 15 hours. Keep in mind that you also need time to prepare your lessons. Sometimes, I felt like there was a lack of organization and structure because Vu placed new students in the classes who had completely different English levels than the others. Additionally, teaching a group of 8 toddlers was challenging. Phan Rang is a nice town!

The kids are lovely and easy to teach, tutoring at your home as well as the kindergarten. Vu is nice, easy going, and I felt at home in his house. He was kind enough to put me in touch with the last (non-WP) volunteer for my peace of mind when there were no reviews. The hosting style's very hands off - bear in mind if you're a first time volunteer and not comfortable figuring stuff out on your own. The only issue I had to raise was he went out of town for 4 of the 6 days of my stay so I was paying for my meals (advertised as free). Overall a good volunteer opportunity, thanks Vu!
