The experience

Daily tasks
● Greet the guests and manage the food orders and record it
● Help our staff to clear away guests’ plates and glasses when they have finished
● Tell the kitchen staff food orders and make any tea or coffee order
● Check in guests and introduce the general information, promote tours and service etc.
● Help guests with whatever they need
● Follow up with the guest activities to make sure everything is ok

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 24 and 65 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You will help us 7 hours working from 7:00 to 14:00 with morning task or from 14:00 to 21:00 with afternoon and evening task a day with 5 days a week. The working time can be change depend on the work, but total amount is 7 hours.
When you have free time: it's free for you to going out or doing tours with free a full day boat trip to Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay and discount price for the other tours.

Activities & Shift

Morning task:
- Greet the guests and manage the breakfast orders.
- Ensure those joining our tours, buses are at the reception before the pick-up time
- Check in for new guests if they come early
Afternoon task:
- Prepare enough bowls, chopsticks and chairs for family and staff lunch
- Greet guests and manage the lunch orders
- Check in guests if they arrive and promote local tours, shuttle buses and services
Evening task:
- Keep an eye for guests wanting to eat and take their orders
- Prepare the table and the chairs for family and staff dinner
- Take dirty dishes out the back and place in the washing up bowl
- Provide information and promote local tours, shuttle buses, services and help them with what they need.
