The experience

Our geothermal greenhouse and caretakers house is 3/4 complete. We need carpenters, plumbers, electricians, brick layers, and general help.
We would also need people to build fences, stone walls, and landscaping.

If anyone has experience in germination of a seed bank and/or biogas...that would be great.

Our team rooms are in Cusco. Currently, in Caicay there is electricity and water. However, in Caicay there are no toilets or showers.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Peru

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We really don't have a "program" per se. What we do have is a construction project that needs to be finished.


Activities & Shift

We haven't had volunteers so far, but we are flexible and can figure it out together.
