The experience

Our life has many facets. We always have small farm projects, animals to take care of, food collection and redistribution, house upkeep, neighborhood clean-up and more. This position is for someone who wants the full experience of living a holistic, zero-waste, homestead lifestyle. No two days are the same but there is always something to be done.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

At the beginning of the week, I will have a weekly outline of top-priority projects as well as repeating weekly or daily tasks. I do a weekly inspection of what jobs could be done in downtime, for example, while waiting for instructions on the next step of a bigger project. If you are comfortable I am happy to let you run the project and I am happy to work along side you as well. With each guest, we find our rhythm.

Activities & Shift

Daily activities will be picking up garbage in the neighborhood, doing farm chores, helping with house upkeep, blessing neighbors with a helping hand and more.
Shifts are generally between 10 am-3 pm.

Rules

Coming with a positive attitude is the most important part of the job. Speaking life is the top priority. Our home is sacred and we expect a high level or moral and ethics.
