The experience

We need help with revitalization of a historic cheese factory, converting it into a multifunctional venue encompassing wedding facilities, accommodation, garlic cultivation, a piano bar, instructional spaces, a regular bar, and a designated camping area.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

4 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Between 18 and 75 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Restoration of old cheese factory to weddings/accommodation/piano bar/live music/caravan-camp grounds and gardens.

Activities & Shift

1. Painting, rendering, post and rail fence, making decks, making a bar, kitchen and gardening.
2. Hours : 8:30am to 5 pm Monday-Wednesday, Thursday to Sunday time off.
3. To help put the cheese factory back to its former glory.
4. No prior experience necessary but willing to teach, if you have some skills would be great.
5. Will have some team members on board most of the build.
6. Will have a 4wd Landcruiser and camper trailer can lend on days off.
