I had a really nice volunteering experience at the hostel. The work was very diverse and I could learn a lot about colombian culture. The family and everybody at the hostal is very nice and social. It's also a great place to improve your Spanish skills and get in touch with the nature around pitalito.

Doris y John fueron muy amables como sus padres, hijos, Ángela. Un ambiente familiar y acogedor, un contacto permanente y muy grato con la naturaleza. Gracias. Infinitas gracias por todo lo aprendido.

Me quedé 12 días en está the hostel. Los anfitriones John y Doris siempre estaban pendientes. Aunque está a 6 km del centro de Pitalito, me prestaron la bici que fue súper útil para recorrer y hacer compras. Las tareas fueron de ayudar a cargar tierra para el sendero y en la obra de su hermano, siendo 3 horas diarias con el fin de semana libre. Cada mañana yo preguntaba lo que tenía que hacer y en los días lluviosos dejábamos para la tarde. Hay que tener en cuenta que no hay ducha caliente y que se debe ocupar del papel higiénico y jabón para lavar la ropa. Gracias por todo. Éxitos!
