I had an amazing time during my stay, it felt like a home away from home. There is a big art community in Jogja so if you're looking for a way to experience both music and art in all forms this is the place to be. There was jamming every night which was such a lovely way to spend my evenings connecting with new people. One of their mottos at the community was “SLOW” which coming from a western speed of living was such a blessing to really feel the time to enjoy all the beauty around me. Life goes by so fast and at my stay every moment was truly magical! Thanks to all and see you in the future

I had a very special, unforgettable experience in the community thanks to the host team making me feel like family and supporting me in my art, plus the environment allowing me to connect to the surrounding nature and locals. With motorcycle rides to the rivers and volcano, studio space to paint and experiment, the company of three cats, and lovely people to play music and have good conversation with every night- it was just a dream. very grateful for my time here and hope to return someday ! ❤️

My experience in the community was really nice. I enjoyed every single day, there was always something to do. I could let my creativity run free anf learn something new about art at the same time. Also the nature is very stunning around the place, there is an active volcano, river for swimming and jungle-like landscapes. Keep in mind that this is not a typical worldpackers place, which provides food or accommodation in exchange of your work. You pay the team and your experience feels like holidays, since everything is provided for you.

At first I didn't know what was going to expect me. Spontaneously I applied here and what welcomed me was more than I hoped for. It feels like living in a small commune. You have a lot of time to be creative and try things out. They have lots of different materials to try out and they have a cozy backyard where I got a lot of inspiration. The people are really nice and welcoming I felt like home in a few days :) there is not really a schedule so every day looks different and you get a lot of freedom. A lot of people stop by so you get the chance to make new friends. I hope to come back again

Hi all! I want to thank you so much for your time and experience. I was able to see and live among the locals and get to know their culture. Thank you very much to Iburina and Padimas for a cozy place, delicious homemade food and coffee in my life. I definitely recommend these guys, with them every day is a lot of fun, mentally and a lot of activities!

It was my first solo volunteering experience and I couldn't have expected anything better. I stayed in the community for 4 weeks and felt like home! I stayed in a family who lives in a natural paradise, by the river, in the city of Yogyakarta. They are dedicated to their values, including water conservation. That's why they do their utmost to improve this resource by building water basins, cleaning the river... The team with 5 local volunteers is also a great help with this project. During the free time, they always have ideas of things to do : going to the waterfall, to art exhibition...
