Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

The Experience

Family Home in Birkenhead, Auckland. Only a 15-minute bus ride into the city (and only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop), we are very conveniently located to get to know Auckland. There are beaches in all a directions and lots of shops only a 5 minute walk away. Airport pickup/dropoff can be arranged. We are 3 generations living under 1 roof. We live downstairs with our 2 year old daughter.

Thank you guys for the stay. I had such a amazing time and felt super welcome in the family. I love the family environment and the daily dinners together. I felt the strong bond you have to each other. The time was super inspiring and I learned from everyone, especially Winnie. She is such a strong and wild being. She knows what she wants and is able to communicate well. It's amazing to see her grow in this short time I was there. Much love to all of you. Looking forward to see you again.

Had a great time with Winnie and the whole family! Winnie is the cutest and funniest child ever, and she has been so nice to babysit :) And the whole family has been very welcoming and nice to me, it has been a great experience to spend my first week in New Zealand here in the home. The house is great with loads of space. The room is massive, quiet and cool during the night, very comfortable overall. The surroundings are beautiful, there are many reserves, parks and beaches that you can walk to easily from the house. Highly recommend to anyone to stay with this amazing family!

I definitely recommend this Worldpackers experience! I felt like a part of the family right away and everyone was really welcoming and friendly. I had a lot of fun playing with Winnie! I had the mornings to myself and helped Casey with Winnie in the afternoon and cooked Dinner after. The bedroom I was provided was cozy and spacious. The location is also great as you there are great walks in walking distance and you can get to the home central in about 20 minutes by bus.
