The experience

In return for your adaptability, we invite you to engage our teachers and students in enriching English conversations, sparking their enthusiasm and confidence in navigating through the language that you effortlessly speak. We offer private accommodation with an en-suite bathroom and three family-style meals daily, with the understanding that we dine as a unit and cater to the whole.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 20 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Colombia

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

what we really need volunteers to do is

1. proofread our english books
2. create english lesson to help our teachers and students improve their listening and speaking skills
3. be the manager if the english conversation club
4. interact with teachers and students all the time in english in and out of the school
5. come and visit companies or schools to promote the learning of english in our school
6. make videos to post on our oficial facebook fanpage and instagram

Activities & Shift

you will be spending up to 5 hours everyday when neccesary

this is just a great chance to get to know our colombian culture

Rules

you are not allowed to drink and smoke in the cabin
it is important that you cause a good impresion around town since people know you are helping us as a volunteer.
