The Experience

Nos ayudarías con el mantenimiento del espacio, en el huerto y vivero en los que sembramos productos de la zona sin químicos. Los turnos son de cinco horas de 9 am a 2 pm. Tendrías toda la tarde libre para, después de comer con nosotros, explorar el área y divertirte. Los días de descanso serían sábado y domingo. Te hospedarías en una casa compartida con otros voluntarios en la que podrás usar la cocina y la lavadora sin costo.

Marcela and Alejandro are lovely hosts, super helpful and very kind. The place is very beautiful, it is very, very rural. We definitely recommend this place if you like immersing yourself in nature and sustainable projects.

Alejandro tough us about the eco techniques that anyone could implement in an outdoor house, and helped us learn how to difference between the local plants and how to consume them. He is very patient while working and an excellent guide to get to know the best things around! We will definitely come back here in another mango season.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y Marce y Alejandro desde el primer momento en el proyeto me hicieron sentir cómoda y segura, en toda mi estancia estuvieron al pendiente de que conociera y disfrutara del lugar y cada noche nos preguntaban cómo nos había ido. Las actividades que realice fueron fáciles y las disfrute mucho (deshierbar, cepillar/lavar paredes, barrer, etc.) aprendí de Alejandro sobre temas ecológicos, que es algo que todos deberíamos concientizar. Las personas de la comunidad son tan amables, te saludan, respetan, enseñan y te incluyen en sus celebraciones. Gracias familia el proyeto 💚

Sin lugar a dudas el mejor anfitrión que he tenido en worldpackers. 10 por 10 recomiendo. Alejandro y Marce son buena gente que siempre se empeñan de que te disfrutes del lugar que aman palpablemente. Espero que nos podamos volver a vernos y que the project siga brindando educación y esperanza tanto a los de la comunidad como a los de todo el mundo!

Disfruté muchismo mi estancia en el proyeto, Alejandro y Marce son anfitriones exepcionales, siempre atentos y dispuestos a compartir las mejores recomendaciones del lugar para que disfrutes al maximo. La hora de la comida tambien fue una aventura culinaria, probé tantos granos, sopas, preparaciones de pescado y ensaladas (¡hasta les agarré el gusto!) El aprendizaje ni se diga, ¡Tus días estarán llenos de ello! Aprenderás sobre la Reserva Ecológica de los Tuxtla y su flora y fauna, jardinería e historia. Me voy agradecida y con el deseo de volver. ¡Gracias el proyeto!
