Help me with creative marketing in Paipa

In just one week Emilia and her colleagues and friends helped me to immerse myself into the Boyacan culture. Besides work, I played Tejo, Bolirana and learned some new Spanish words and learned about the culture and work. You sleep in a cool house in Tuta and work in Paipa. It's cool to actually stay a week in this friendly town and become friends with the people. It felt like home! It's also a sportive city and you can find enough coffee corners :) Emilia herself is always busy, so take good care of her. She is funny, just like her friends!

Had a wonderful time here. The students are great and learn you a lot of both the language and the culture. You also have a lot of responsibility for the classes right from the beginning as the host Emilia is a very busy girl (a lot of things going on at the same time). She always has a positive attitude and always laughs. The town Paipa where you work is both safe and lovely with wonderful people & amazing food and also Tuta (where you live) Ps, you will need 8-10 dollars/euros a day for the bus-ride (20-30 mins) and for food everyday. Highly recommend!!

I loved my experience at the school! If I could of stayed longer I honestly would have:) Emilia is super fun, caring and lovely! Teaching, even for a novice like me was great. I learnt alot, it sparked up a passion and I'm now looking at more teaching opportunities. Everyone I met in Paipa were so nice and welcoming, food is super fresh & everything is so affordable. It was really relaxing to chill and have fulfilling days. Would love to come back and visit!

I've done other volunteers before, but this was my first experience teaching and it was really nice to connect with locals, definitely an interesting challenge to teach English to Spanish speakers when I don't speak Spanish so well, but I think I managed just fine in the end. The house where you stay is far from the city where the school is located, but it's very comfortable and there are frequent buses. Emilia, the host, is super sweet. The only problem maybe is that I was expecting 3 meals and 50k pesos per week is not enough to cover that. Overall though, it was a very rich experience :)

I had originally thought I would only teach at the school for 2 months, but decided that I loved the experience so much that I stayed for an extra 4. It was fantastic. The students are passionate about improving their English, Emilia and all of the staff are open-minded and supportive, and the town (Paipa) is beautiful and the locals are warm and friendly. I learned a lot of Spanish teaching at the school, learned a lot about my own language (English), and felt I grew as a teacher. It was an invaluable experience.

The whole experience at the school was very meaningful! I learned a lot about Colombia and especially Boyacá state. Emilia is a very nice person, respectful and kind. The school is small and you will have the opportunity to meet all the students, who are adorable and smart. Chris is a sweet American teacher who teaches at the school and if you get the chance to meet him, he will cook for you on Sundays ;) The Boyacá area is just beautiful and perfect to rest from big cities. Everything is close and super safe! I recommend the school to everyone that is looking for a local and safe experience.

The experience was amazing! The opportunity to teach English, whilst practicing Spanish was superb! I do recommend it for those who want to spend time in the countryside, surrounded by nature. The house where you stay 30 min by bus from the school, a great house, individual room with high connection internet. There are benches to sit and enjoy a good reading in the garden. It's very idyllic one would say I got along very well with the host, Emilia. She is super easy-going, easy to talk with, and polite. You can either speak English or Spanish, hence communication should not be a problem.

This is one of my favorite experiences to date! Emilia is so incredibly kind & caring. She really goes above and beyond to help her students succeed and to help you feel welcome. My time at the school and with her is definitely a highlight of my time in Colombia. If you're looking to immerse yourself in local culture, work on your Spanish, and make a difference teaching English - this is the experience for you! I've definitely made a lifelong friend :)

I spent 1 month at the school and it was amazing! I worked with recording & editing videos, creating advertising pieces and creating content for the institution's social medias. I also participated in some English classes talking about my travel experience & about my country, Brazil. Emilia is an incredible host, always happy and available to help. Her family also received me very well. The city of Paipa is also welcoming. I intend to come back soon. I recommend who wants to learn new languages (such as English, French and German) and to anyone who wants to be in contact with the real colombian :)
