The experience

I'm Lakpa Dawa Cerpa, from Lungzik. I'm running a primary school for the betterment of children who can't afford hefty fees structure in the convents. I'm in need of volunteers to teach English/Arts & Crafts/Language/Maths subjects for the primary school children in Sardong-Lungzik, West Sikkim.

We offer you free accomodation for your period of stay at our school and also help you with exploring the nearby places during the week-off's.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

No Smoking & Drinking during the period of stay. As you will be staying with the kids and residential area.
