The experience

Our school project builds schools made with bamboo and corrugated iron roofs. The aim is to provide quality education for a low fee to underprivileged children in Nepal.

The Bhaktapur branch is looking for volunteers to teach English grammar, conversation classes and help with activities and events. The 900+ students range from 4 - 18y/o. For 5 usd per day we can cover the expenses of food and accomodation

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Volunteers contribute $5 per day to cover expenses for food and accommodation.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Rules

We offer humble but comfortable accommodation on the school. There are many hotels nearby with prices starting from 700 rupees per room(5usd), or just the possibility to have a hot shower for little money 200 rupees
