The Experience

La Posada is rural lodging divided in 5 apartments and a bar located in the heart of the Natural Parq of La Subbetica surrounded by mountains, with spacious Garden zones, a vegetable garden and a farm. My wife and I, manage la Posada, but depending on the season of the year we need outside help mainly for maintenance and cleaning work of the apartments, gardens, farm and bar, depending on the demand of the moment.

The experience was amazing! It's a super beautiful place and my host and his family were all super nice to me and they let me travel a lot. They will make you feel like you're a part of their family. The tasks are easy and it's a pretty good place to practice spanish. 10/10 would recommend.

Tami and I had a great month volunteering at the inn. Jose (Tanu), Silvia, Silvita and Fede are amazing and kind people, and made our first experience as volunteers perfect. The job was quite nice. We loved to work there with everybody and also with all the animals (Froyd, Lucy, chickens, sheep etc). Also, we learned a lot about Andalucia's culture and food. We totally recommend this experience and we for sure will be back there very soon!

I felt very much at home at the inn with Jose and family. I was looking for a place in the nature away from the city where I could concentrate and feel at ease to advance my studies while at the same time having to do manual tasks (veg garden, maintenance, painting, welcoming guests, animal caring, much more) to decompress. I found just the place. Seated in Olive-tree country in the small ridge, it's a great place togo for a long run, biking.. Jose is very thoughtful, respectful and flexible. Work was enjoyable and not strenous at all. Downside: far from the town. Beautiful place.

In period of Covid I found here a heaven where I could forget all the problems and the stress of the life in cities. The place is a dream for whoever loves mountains and nature, the inn is located in the middle of lots of hills and mountains, where you can go for a walk or a run with breathless landscapes. I stayed here in febrary and march and we had few guests, so most of the job was maintenance and gardening, a bit tiring but very peaceful and relaxing for the mind. Jose is incredibly kind, he made me feel very comfortable since the first time I met him; muchas gracias por todo Jose!

My experience here was incredible. It is truly magical to be in the midst of nature and to be able to connect with your own essence, away from the chaos of the big city. José is a very special person, who loves nature, people and does everything he can to make us feel comfortable and at home. I had the opportunity to use my own talents and skills to work and serve the inn, and that was a great experience of doing meaningful work. =) I'm grateful for every moment spent in the inn. :)
