We've had a great stay in Jaisalmer thanks to Mukesh and his team. He was very flexible with our workflow and allowed us much creative freedom, which we highly appreciated. We stayed in Jaisalmer for 3 weeks. It's not a big city but he arranged many things for us to do and we had the opportunity to stay at some of his desert camps. Overall its been a great experience and we are very grateful we found this opportunity. I would highly recommend fellow travellers to stay at the hostel haveli!

I couldn't have started in a better way my experience with worldpackers. Mukesh is an amazing person and the hotel staff was incredibly kind with me. Mukesh let me feel fine and free about the job which was caring about the social media and designing a menu for the restaurant. Although the city was in low season I could enjoy the hostel Hotel and local people in the city. Almost every evening we could hang out at the hotel rooftop, Mukesh and Richa (from stuff) taught me a lot about indian culture, speciality about Rajasthan. I'm missing them already!

Mukesh was a great host. He offered us the whole Jaisalmer experience and also desert and rural India experience. He was very nice with us, being always included in his talk and moments of joy. The staff of the hotel also was amazing, making us feel like part of a family. The city is 100% safe and calmed. Their lifestyle is so different that sometimes it gets hard to find what to do. I don't know if I would recommend it for a woman solo traveler, not because of safety, but because only man are involved in business partnerships moments and you can feel left behind.

Mukesh and the team are nice people and the hostel Haveli is an awesome place to stay. The place is really well maintained and resides in the heart of the city. The food was regional desi and nutritious. I would recommend anyone to volunteer here and learn more about hotel management, restaurant management and not to mention the local lifestyle. Thank you for hosting me and for the wonderful experience.

The staff are social and vibrant, the management is easy and clear, everything is well thought out and simple. You will feel involved in everything about the hostel Haveli and you'll be all around town working with different subjects. I advise anyone to reach to this place if they want to receive the best kind of treatment and joy from volunteering. Mukesh understands your capabilities and pushes them into work that will improve you and set you to greater length. he's a man that I wish to work with in the future, and it tells of the quality of the services and work he offers.

I had a Great time in the hostel! I came to work as videomaker and also to manage the social media. I wanted to improve more my skills and develop myself more as a professional person. I had totally freedom to be creative as much as I could. Mukesh, the guy who runs the place is very kind and always positive. He told me to use my imagination to do my best in the hostel. I stayed 3 weeks at the end there, and had so much fun on Holi Festival and Camel Safaris. I definitelly recommend the hostel for everyone who wants to have an adventure in the Desert and explore "The Golden City".

I never imagined to have such an amazing time here in Jaisalmer. ¡the hostel is probably one of the best hosts to volunteer with Worldpackers! I was really lucky to do Camel Safari the first day of my stay, visit the Golden City and take as many photographs and videos as possible for them. I enjoyed a lot was I was doing because photography is passion! The accommodation and food was more than perfect, and the hours of work were flexible. I'm glad and thankful specially with all the nice people I met here. I always felt generosity, kindness and a smile from all of them. ¡NAMASTE the hostel!
