Wild Nordic

Its quite a different company.We arrange wildlife watching all year around from 2 different hides. In the summer its mostly focus on bears and from the other hide its badgers and small wildlife. So you might get to see some wildlife. And its very friendly, unique and sustainable.

I started this company as I am crazy about wildlife. After 3 years it was too much for just one person. We are now 2-3 persons working, depending on the season. We work as a team and everyone do everything.

The entire experience was absolutely fantastic! Wild Nordic is truly an outstanding place. Sara, the incredible host, provided a transparent and accurate overview of the work expectations, that was not too much, and surprisingly fun! Snow cleaning was a workout, but hey, good for the bod, ahaha – loved it.
The accommodations were exceptional—a spacious apartment exclusively for my use, and Sara provided food for me to cook.
I had the pleasure of meeting extraordinary people whose impact I intend to carry forward in my life. I hope that I can come back another time!

After experiencing Wild Nordic you can never see other Worldpackers experiences the same. 65 sqm apartment just for you (or for a couple or pair). 3* hotel facilities (at least). Leisure activities depending on season can include (cross country skiing, skating, mountain biking, trekking, downhill skiing). The work depends on the season but definitely you won't work extra hours. Actually, working less hours is highly likely.
Advice: be yourself when submitting your intro video or when sending a motivational video about this experience. It's not easy to be selected so prepare diligently

I loved my time at Wild Nordic. Sara is such a sweet woman and I felt like I was with an old friend. I also loved talking to another team member , Pierrick .

The work consisted of garden work, helping bring supplies to and from the hide, and some cleaning. It was not difficult and my time just flew by.

It was relatively quiet since Wild Nordic was closed during this time, but I honestly wish I could have stayed longer. Hope to return to see some bears 🤩
