Irving, TX (DFW Airport)
This is a great location, 13 mins drive from DFW airport, and centrally located in between Dallas and Fort worth. There is a lot of things to see and do in the DFW metroplex.
I have been working on this project alone, so the project has been progressing slowly. I need help to speed things up. Construction / renovation experience is preferred, since we will be building bunk beds and doing repairs to the building.

The host has 2 openings, and I was the only person there, so I was expected to do both jobs in the allotted time. Not allowed to check phone. Not allowed to take breaks. Doing either requires you to put in overtime. At the end of the last day working day, host threatened to kick me out if I didn’t stay past the agreed upon working time because I sat down to rest my pulled back muscle.

Jack was assigned the various responsibilities stated in the listing. Unfortunately he opted to take frequent breaks and declined to make up the time. As a result, he failed in his commitment to work the agreed hours.

Corine is kind, funny, respectful and creative. She helped me learn new things and gave me a beautiful room for 3 weeks. I just sometimes didn't understand her English because of her British accent, but then we spoke in Spanish. I recommend going through this experience if you want to spend some time in Dallas.

It was a amazing experience, Corinne is a wonderful host and she help us on what we need.
The work on the house was amazing, I learned new skills and Corinne is a nice person to teach how to do those things.
It was my first experience with volunteer and I it was better than I imagined.
10/10 totally recommend!

My experience was very nice. Corinne is an excellent host and very attentive to my needs. I felt at home right at the beginning of my stay. Additionally the tasks I did were very simple. totally recommended and grateful
