Hello my dear friends!

I'm Hoa, an English teacher based in the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh. I have small-sized classes (max 10 students) and a group of friends who share a strong passion for improving English and exchanging languages, cuisines and cultures with others from all over the world. I desire to create a free English-speaking environment for not only my students but also English enthusiasts in the city. Hope to see you guys soon!

Programa detallado

I'm looking for a volunteer who is friendly, easy-going, and proficient in English to chat and help us improve our English for about 4 hours a day, mainly in the afternoon. You will have Fridays and Saturdays off.

- I can't let you stay at my place because of some unresolved legal issues. However, I still welcome you to come over. I will pay for a bed in a dormitory at a nearby hostel for you.
- On working days, I can drive you to the workplace and cover the cost of the Grab Bike for your return.
- Free lunch and dinner on working days. You'll enjoy Vietnamese dishes that my sister and I cook. We occasionally dine out.
- I have Vietnamese instant coffee and Vietnamese tea available for you.
- Free wifi access.
- Convenient location near the airport, bus stations, shopping malls, local markets, ATMs, parks and a swimming pool.
- I will support you throughout your stay.

Actividades & Turnos

- I’ll show you around when convenient, and give you recommendations.
- I can teach you Vietnamese and guide you in making Vietnamese food, if you wish to.
- I’m an art enthusiast. If you want, we can do some art activities together like drawing, singing, crafting and designing.
- Language and cultural exchange opportunities with locals. —> From Monday to Thursday, you’ll chat with me and English learners at my workplace, and on Sunday, I run an English speaking session at a cafe where you can meet more local people.
- I’d love to organise some city tours and tours of nearby places where English learners show you around and practice speaking English. These tours are currently unavailable, yet I’ll try my best to do so in the near future.
