The Experience

Hello ! I am Lucas. I am trying to create a small cocoon of nature, birds, peace and joy in central Portugal. A place where it feels good to take time, to meditate, rest or just enjoy. I started, but there's still a lot to do. Come help to create this dream!

Lucas is the sweetest, best host ever! I only got to meet him a couple of days before he had to go but everhthing was very clear and we stayed in contact every day. Lucas trusted us to stay on the land alone and to do our tasks. Everything is very clear, the work is fun and you can organize it however you want. It truely was an amazing experience in nature with only the horses and the birds (and the other voluteers) to keep you company. I am really grateful that Lucas trusted me to make this place look better. The place already looks amazing and has a lot of potential. Thank you a lot 🩵🌻

Lucas is extremely friendly, thoughtful, and flexible. He gave us the flexibility to choose our own tasks to work on, without enforcing any kind of strict deadlines or standards. This made the stay entirely relaxing, and allowed us to be creative and enjoy the work. Lucas was also tentative to our needs, and well connected with other expats. This made things like shopping and getting to the nearby town easy and frequent. Definitely would recommend!

Lucas is a very insightful and interesting guy and he made us feel really comfortable in his place. The working hours were flexible and really based on trust and commitment on both parts. There are different types of tasks to be done, so that allows volunteers to adapt to what fits them best and also be creative as you go. The space is absolutely lovely! We slept in a comfy caravan, waking up to a beautiful sunrise! Lucas, thanks so much for this experience! 🥰 I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys nature, learning new skills and meeting interesting people!
