The experience

The ideal candidate here comes with skills. You are a trained Yoga teacher, and or know basic reiki and massage therapy (licensed). You are willing to help with all household chores (we all live here and have to contribute to the community!) You are willing and excited to host yoga sessions for the community here or utilize your skills for the benefit of all in the community. Keeping a professional posture all along the way. What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish

Between 40 and 70 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Five hours a day, 5 days a week, you choose days off. Or you can do more hours per day and take more days off per week. You agree to the hours, and you agree to track them on a public board for entire team. You are okay to share bathroom space and possibly sleep in a hostel environment (no more than 3 beds in space). You have no problem with working indoors OR outdoors in hot or cold environment according to the season. Summers and good weather, volunteers should expect to sleep outdoors, but in winter, indoors only.

Shifts are variable and flexible, according to the needs of the community.

House is a quiet, peaceful place, with no loud parties, for the benefit of all. We stay professional. We agree not to engage in sexual relationships inside the community, for the safety and tranquility of all here.
