The Best farm on the Biggest Island in Hawaii NEAR ALL BEACH/BUS

The experience

We are a small farm in the best area on the Big Island of Hawaii. We start the day at 8am, feeding animals, harvesting and enjoying the best weather. It is always 80degrees. You can walk to the bus or stores. Your impact here will be filled with enjoying the chickens, goats and cow. Dogs/cats/pig and mongoose, lizards and gechos fill our day. We are close to great swimming and hiking. There are two farmers markets we attend & just fun

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 100 One time

Description: deposit is returned at end of stay when the room is left clean, washed and put away as found. If you are the best intern, there will be another $100 for traveling funds from us.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Program Details

We will teach you the simple basics of farm life. Start at 8am, end by noon and whatever comes our way each day! We feed and walk the animals first thing and a project of the day. the local zip code is 96726 for whats around this area

Activities & Shift

Friday and sunday are the farmers markets in which we attend and sell stuff. Monday is funday at the best beach, 15 mins from the farm; friday nites is free hula show and just a nice experience
