The Experience

We are Avishai & Ilana, a couple from Israel. In April 2018 we opened a guesthouse in the desert town of Yeruham. A quiet little town surrounded by amazing nature and views, a natural crater and a beautiful lake (not for swimming). We love hosting, meeting people from around the world, getting to know their story and sharing ours. We are interested in hosting 2-4 volunteers that will help us with all house chores and greeting guests.

I had a great time in Yerocham! The quietness of the desert really helped me to relax and have a chill time. Avishai was the most helpful and super kind! He helped me with everything, whether it was visa, organizing trips or getting to know the culture. The amount of work we had to do at the guest house really depended on how booked it was. So on somedays it was very short and chill and on others quite exhausting. The tasks are mainly changing the beds and cleaning. The apartment the volunteers live in is very nice and comfortable. Thank you Avishai! :)
