The experience

Start your day at Kruger Park Hostel by prepping breakfast and managing the common area. Morning tasks include restocking essentials and keeping the monkeys and zebra out of the hostel. Afternoons are yours for social media (daily storys). Evening duties involve dinner assistance and setting up for the next day. Enjoy Tuesdays off with exciting tours. Join us for a unique volunteer experience amidst African wildlife!


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside South Africa

Program Details

Open hostel, arrange seating
Set up breakfast area
Monitor and replenish the breakfast station
Wildlife monitoring (prevent theft from the monkeys)
Restock fridge, fire lanterns
Clean pool
Handle social media (daily storys)
Assist with dinner, cleanup
Prepare breakfast for next day
Enjoy tours on day off (Tuesday)


Activities & Shift

You will be asked to work 6 days a week, helping with the daily tasks around here: kitchen, sometimes cleaning, socializing with the guests, and social media (daily storys). It sounds like a lot, but you have a lot of time for yourself as well.
