The experience

We are a non profit organization registered by the government operating in Arusha Tanzania.
Our main goals is to help orphans and kids from vulnerable life to get chance to go to school and provide them a cozy environment and suitable place to stay, we have kids from 2 years to 15 years so at the center we have alot of daily activities to be coducted as follows
Teaching kids different languages and mathematics, dancing and arts classes, and so

What you offer

19 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner French

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We will have daily routine at the orphanage and other days we will have home visits for those kids who are coming from vulnerable backgrounds

Activities & Shift

Our daily activities include teaching languages and mathematics, arts and music, dancing, first aid, football, cooking, giving food during lunch time, etc
